Privacy and Terms of Service
- Privacy with Pay Pal - When you choose to pay your dues online with a credit card or your PayPal account, your personal information goes to PayPal and not to the Marine Trawler Owners Association. We do not see or collect your account numbers, card numbers, or any other information about the transaction other than the amount you paid and who paid it. PayPal does the processing and will deposit the funds directly to our bank account. PayPal is responsible for your privacy on transactions you make thru them.
- Privacy of Other Information You Send Us - All information that you send to us when you join or update your member profile is used in our roster. The roster is periodically printed and can be searched and viewed online by members. If you send us pictures or emails, or articles for our NEWS or our MAGAZINE, that may be published to our members too. So it is not private. You give us permission to use what you provide.

- Our Use of "Cookies" - "Cookies" are small files of data that reside on your computer and allow us to recognize you as an MTOA member if you return to the MTOA site using the same computer and browser. We send a session cookie and Flash cookie to your computer if and when you log in to your MTOA account by entering your member number and password. These cookies allow us to recognize you if you visit multiple pages in our site during the same session, so that you don't need to re-enter your password multiple times. Once you log out or close your browser, these cookies expire and no longer have any effect.
We also use longer-lasting cookies to display your member number on our sign-in form, so that you don't have to retype the member number each time when you log in to your MTOA account.
